QA machine restore.

This machine is used for visual inspection of widgets produced by one of our clients. According to them, it had never functioned correctly, despite over £100,000 invested in its development. They turned to us to see what could be done.

We identified issues at the machine's start, where widgets were fed into the inspection section via a hopper. After careful analysis, we determined that much of the initial mechanism was unnecessary, simplifying the process and eliminating multiple faults.

Further investigation revealed that the vision system lacked properly configured recipes to meet the client’s requirements, which we promptly corrected. We also examined the Mitsubishi PLC program, diagnosing and systematically resolving the many errors it contained. By addressing each issue step by step, we successfully restored the machine to full working order.
